NZD/USD exchange rate forecast 2012

New Zealand dollar exchange rate forecast 2012 ; The New Zealand Dollar exchange rate for August, 2011 averaged 1.19 NZD to USD. That's 1.4 basis points higher than the July, 2011 rate of 1.18, and 20.5 basis points lower than the August, 2010 rate of 1.40. The rise in the NZD/USD exchange rate from July to August provides evidence that the short term trend in NZD/USD is up. In other words, a strengthening of the US Dollar against the New Zealand Dollar in the short term. If that trend continues in the currency market, we should see an average daily rate in September, 2011 that is close to 1.21.

The average New Zealand Dollar conversion rate over the last 12 months was 1.28. The average rate over the last 10 years was 1.58. A Lower New Zealand Dollars to US Dollars exchange rate over the last 12 months compared to the average currency rates over the last 10 years serve as an indicator that the long term rate trend in NZD/USD is down (weakening US Dollar against the New Zealand Dollar).

The highest currency rate for NZD/USD over the last 12 months was 1.37. The lowest was 1.18. The market high was attained in September, 2010. The market low was achieved in July, 2011.
